1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Classpace ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Classpace is an AI-powered platform that helps language teachers generate lesson feedback, vocabulary lists, homework assignments, and other educational materials from lesson recordings and notes.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must promptly update any information to keep it accurate and current.

4. Subscription Plans

Free Plan: Includes 20 lessons per month and 3 audio transcripts.

Basic Plan ($9/month): Includes 50 lessons per month and 10 audio transcripts.

Pro Plan ($19/month): Includes 100 lessons per month and 25 audio transcripts.

Business Plan ($39/month): Includes 300 lessons per month and 100 audio transcripts.

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and your account will revert to the free tier at the end of your billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Violate the intellectual property rights of Classpace or others
Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Share your account credentials with others
Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you upload to Classpace (lesson recordings, notes, etc.). You grant us a license to use this content solely to provide the Service to you.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Classpace and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

AI-Generated Content: Content generated by our AI (feedback, vocabulary lists, homework) is provided for your use in your teaching activities. You may use, modify, and share this content with your students.

7. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Third-Party Services

Classpace uses third-party services to provide our platform:

Clerk: Authentication and user management
OpenAI: AI-powered lesson feedback generation
Gladia: Audio transcription services
Vercel: Hosting and infrastructure
Stripe: Payment processing

These services have their own terms and privacy policies which you should review.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability: We strive to keep the Service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

AI-Generated Content: Content generated by our AI is for educational purposes. You should review all AI-generated content before sharing with students. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Classpace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, but these Terms will continue to apply to your past use of the Service.

11. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your billing period.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law
